Detailed nail care within reach of Midtown

Our West 28th Street studio is convenient from Midtown South: take the R or W to 28 St, the 1 to 28 St, or walk down from 34 St–Herald Sq.

The appointment begins on dry nails. The technician refines the surrounding folds, shapes the free edge, and prepares an even base before applying the finish chosen for your nail condition.

Choose a slim gel color for firm natural nails, a structural overlay for extra reinforcement, or an uncoated ECO or Japanese finish. The complete Russian manicure guide explains every option in more detail.

Planning an after-work visit? Reserve ahead and include existing-product removal, repairs, or nail art in the booking. That lets us assign the correct appointment length before you arrive.

Find your perfect manicure

Compare finishes by purpose, structure, timing, and Regular Nail Tech price. Select the card that best matches your natural nails and the result you want.

Sculpted extensions use hard builder gel with upper or lower forms.

4-5 weeks of clean results

For Midtown schedules, appointment quality matters: the technique takes more time than a regular manicure because every nail is cleaned, shaped, and finished with more detail.

Step by Step

Six steps to perfect, long-lasting nails.

  1. Step 01 of 06

    Gel Removal

We safely remove any previous gel polish or extensions, keeping your nails healthy and intact.

  2. Step 02 of 06

    Cuticle Care

The cuticle area is cleaned and perfected using a dry technique with specialized tools.

  3. Step 03 of 06

    Nail Shaping

Nails are shaped and buffed to the desired length and form.

  4. Step 04 of 06

    Base Application

A rubber base is applied to strengthen the nails and create a smooth foundation.

  5. Step 05 of 06

    Nail Coating

At this step, the specialist either leaves the nails natural or applies the chosen finish: regular polish, gel polish, hard gel, builder gel, or a special buffing paste for Japanese manicure.

  6. Step 06 of 06

    Finishing Touches

Any design or top coat is added, and the nails are sealed for durability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Instead of soaking the hands, the technician prepares the nail folds on dry skin with an e-file. This makes it possible to refine the proximal and side areas, place the finish closer to the cuticle line, and create a neater-looking grow-out.

The finish may continue to look polished for 4 to 5 weeks, depending on growth and daily wear. We generally recommend returning every 2 to 3 weeks so length, balance, and nail condition can be maintained appropriately.

A trained nail technician first evaluates the nails and surrounding skin, chooses controlled e-file settings, and works with properly processed reusable instruments. We do not perform the service over injured, inflamed, or infected skin.

No. The appointment should feel controlled and comfortable. Tell your technician immediately if an area feels sharp or unusually sensitive so the technique can be adjusted or the work on that area can stop.

Yes. Mention sensitivity before the service begins so the technician can use a lighter approach. If the skin is broken or actively inflamed, postponing or modifying the appointment may be the safer choice.

Gel polish suits naturally firm nails when the goal is color and a slim finish. Hard gel is the more supportive option for nails that flex, split, break easily, or need help holding their shape.

Gel polish is primarily a color coating. Hard gel creates a structural overlay, allowing the technician to reinforce weak areas, rebalance the nail, and support repairs or added length.

Simple natural-finish maintenance may take 50 to 75 minutes. Gel, hard gel, refill, and extension appointments usually require 105 to 150 minutes, depending on the booked service and any removal or design work.

A refill is appropriate when the existing extension material remains sound and only the grown-out structure needs rebalancing. Choose a new set when there is no existing set, the structure is compromised, or you want a major change in length or shape.

Choose ECO for precise dry cuticle care and a clean matte nail with no coating. Choose Japanese Manicure when you also want the natural plate conditioned and buffed to a subtle sheen without gel or traditional polish.

Extensions make sense when you want extra length, a different silhouette, or a uniform look across broken or uneven nails. If your natural length already works for you, a gel or structural overlay is usually sufficient.

Our medical-grade sterilization workflow includes disinfection, ultrasonic cleaning, complete drying, sealed pouches, autoclave processing, and protected storage until the appointment.

Yes. Preparation can be adapted to the condition of a thin nail plate, and the technician may suggest hard gel when additional support would be more appropriate than a color-only coating.

Removal of another salon’s gel polish is $20. Acrylic or dip powder removal is $40. Select the required removal when booking so the appointment includes enough time.

Take the R or W to 28 St, the 1 to 28 St, or walk south from 34 St–Herald Sq. The salon is at 42 West 28th Street, Floor 3, within a short walk of Midtown South.
