Service Guarantee
Darlings Beauty Lab offers a limited complimentary guarantee for technical defects on eligible services in Flatiron, Manhattan. This page explains what qualifies, how long the guarantee lasts, and when standard repair pricing applies.
Technical defects only
Coverage is limited to issues such as lifting, chipping, peeling, or other premature defects caused by product or application.
What counts as a repair
A repair is a correction of one damaged nail or one affected service area. It is not considered a full repeat service.
- Fixing a chip, lifting, peeling, or breakage of the coating.
- Restoring the damaged nail or affected area.
- Reapplying product only where the issue occurred.
The guarantee does not include full cuticle care, reshaping all nails, filing undamaged nails, color changes, or design changes.
How to qualify
- Notify the salon within the guarantee period.
- Send clear photos of the damage.
- Schedule and complete the repair visit within that same timeframe.
All repair visits are by appointment only and depend on salon availability.
What is not covered
- Normal wear from daily use.
- Changes caused by water, chemicals, impact, gloves, gym, or travel.
- Natural nail growth, lash shedding, or brow fading.
- Issues after self-removal or third-party correction.
Repair pricing
- Fix 1 nail - $15
- Extension 1 nail - $20
When complimentary repair may be refused
- External mechanical damage or improper use.
- Lack of proper aftercare.
- Self-removal, self-filing, or picking.
- Work altered by another salon or technician.
If the issue does not qualify or the guarantee period has expired, standard repair pricing from the Extras menu will apply.
What counts as a technical defect?
- Gel lifting within a few days.
- Top coat peeling.
- Premature chipping not caused by impact.
- Lash or brow issues caused by service performance, not home care.
All guarantee requests are subject to in-person or photo review by the salon team.
